Here's a little interactive graph I put together about the lifespans of characters from The Walking Dead, specifically the comic (not the TV show). So, SPOILERS ahead. I scraped the data from The Walking Dead Wiki using Python, massaged/cleansed the data in Excel, and used Tableau Public to create the visualization. Filter and sort as you like, and mouse over individual items for a tooltip with details, such as how the person was killed, their first issue, last issue, etc. Methodology notes:
- Lori and Carl are seen in a photograph in Issue #1, but not in person until Issue #2.
- I excluded people who were zombified when we met (Penny Blake, Michonne's companions, etc.)
- I was primarily concerned with the proper canon, not bonus issues (like Michonne's issues, or the alternate universe in Issue #7) or the novels.

The plastic crab in two of the photos is "Sanner Claws". He is our summer mascot, and we take pictures with him in all of the cool spots we visit during the summer. Read More
Vacationing at our favorite spot on Carter's Creek in June of 2014. Highlights include seeing huge pods of dolphins, lots of fun fishing, a cute baby racoon that Junebug found and a huge hailstorm. After the storm there was a double rainbow. What does it mean? Also for your consideration are a couple of panoramas. One was taken from the pier with lightning falling all around, the other was taken with a GoPro on a quadcopter. Read More
